What to do in Connecticut?

If you live in Connecticut you've most likely either heard of or have been to Mystic, a quaint little town nestled on the eastern shoreline. This blog is about taking a day trip to the "Olde Mistick Village", which is a shopping experience like no other. Located right off interstate 95 at exit 90, you cant miss it.

If you've never been here before you are in for a real treat. Listed below are some of the things to do, places to eat and sights to see all courtesy of Mystic Country.


Stores

A world apart from the ordinary mall experience, Olde Mistick Village, with its unique collection of shoppers, stores and restaurants, has become a favorite shopping center for local residents as well as the many visitors who come into the Mystic area from all around the world.


Restaurants

Good food is a highlight at Olde Mistick Village. From imaginative snacks to full-course meals, each restaurant offers different taste sensations to tempt locals and tourists alike. A bakery, candy shoppe and general store are ready to satisfy a yearning for something sweet.

Gifts & Crafts

Few places offer as many gift shopping opportunities as Olde Mistick Village. For those searching for that "perfect something" for someone special, or those who want a lasting memento of their Mystic trip - these stores provide an outstanding selection. Many one-of-a-kind, handmade items are created by local craftsmen. Many other items are imported from throughout the world!


Visitor Information Center and More

A Visitor Information Center provides maps, lists and information on regional attractions. Other stores and services include: two banks with ATMs, laundry, hair salon and an art cinema.
